As a healthcare manager or health educator, you have the power to help shape your future, and the future of healthcare. In this program, you’ll build on your associate’s degree in an allied health discipline to earn your bachelor’s degree and advance your career.

In this flexible program, you can study on a full- or part-time basis and choose a concentration in public health or health education. When you graduate, you’ll have the strong foundation needed to assume teaching or management positions within your discipline, or positions in public health and health education.

Program Goals

The goals of the BSHS online degree completion program are to provide:

• an opportunity for students to earn a BS in Health Sciences fully online with the flexibility of full or part-time study;
• opportunities for the development and demonstration of interpersonal, oral and written communications, critical thinking, information literacy, and research design skills;
• a comprehensive general education that includes an understanding of healthcare delivery, healthcare ethics, and interpersonal communications in healthcare;
• a broad introduction to applied health sciences in health promotion, health informatics, public health and policy, and health services research; and
• individualized academic advising and career mentoring for students who are interested in advancing their health careers in Healthcare Management or Health Professions Education.
