Key information

You will combine detailed theoretical study with excellent practical clinical experience across a range of settings to gain a qualification that is highly regarded both professionally and academically. You will learn with experts in Mental Health Nursing and leading researchers, opening new career opportunities and enabling you to contribute to clinical practice and research in the field.

acute care, diagnostics and treatment long term care, recovery and rehabilitation leading and managing in healthcare practice.

You will learn alongside students from other nursing pathways and in placements, professional disciplines such as Social Work and Occupational Therapy encouraging a multi-disciplinary approach that reflects professional clinical practice.

Master of Science (MSc)

Who is this course for?

If you are a graduate who wants to pursue a rewarding career in Mental Health Nursing, this MSc will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge you need, even if your first degree is in an unrelated subject.

Career

On successful completion of the course, you will be eligible to register with the NMC, which provides an internationally recognised professional qualification, enabling you to practice as an adult and mental health nurse in the UK and overseas.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
