You can pursue a general Master of Laws degree through our extensive range of modules, or you can pursue one of several specialisms such as Public International Law or International Commercial Law.

We also offer a course in government, diplomacy and politics. You will have a wealth of additional learning opportunities including pro bono clinics, guest lectures, recruitment fairs and periodic internships.

You will be decisive and focused in choosing from a wide selection of modules to suit your professional goals.

You may have recently completed an undergraduate degree or have experience in private practice or non-legal work in sectors such as finance and public service.

If you graduate from the LLM in, for example, Civil Litigation & Dispute Resolution, you will have strong prospects for a career in managing and conducting civil cases. This might be through litigation, arbitration, negotiation or mediation.

You will be able to demonstrate deep understanding and a mix of skills that can make an instant impression in the workplace.

Our aim is for you to be well positioned for a range of legal and non-legal careers. This programme can help prepare you for careers in:

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
