Key information

Enhance your career prospects and build a specialist knowledge base in key areas of law relevant to international business with our flexibly designed, part-time LLM. Your learning will take place entirely online and emphasise the practical and problem-solving aspects of law.

Benefits of this course

You will build specialist knowledge around any existing knowledge of legal rules governing international business. Our aim is to give you legal and research skills to further your career as an international business professional or legal practitioner. We emphasise practical and problem-solving aspects of the law, giving strong support if you do not have a legal background. As the programme is delivered online, you have the freedom to study in your own working environment and at your own pace.

You can select to apply for one of the available exit points for this course.

Master of Laws (LLM)

Who is this course for?

If you want to develop your career prospects in international business or law, our programme can set you on the right path.

Or you might be working in a related field already and wish to build your expertise.

You can study from anywhere in the world and do not need to enter the UK, so you do not require a visa if studying from overseas.

Career

By the end of the International Business Law LLM you will have developed strong specialist legal knowledge with an international business perspective.

You will also have valuable new transferable skills which may prove vital to your career in International Business Law.

After completing the LLM, you may wish to continue your legal studies with us on the PhD or MPhil programmes offered here at The City Law School.

While many enjoy successful legal careers, our graduates also regularly pursue careers in other related sectors, including finance, banking and the civil service.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
