You design the curriculum.
As an established professional with real-world experience, you design your own study plan. And as an MC/MPA student, you have the freedom to pursue your intellectual interests, develop new capabilities, expose yourself to new approaches and methods and advance your career.

Along with the expertise and knowledge of our renowned HKS faculty members, the wisdom of your classmates and the understanding of public policy issues that you share elevate your Harvard Kennedy School experience.
The Mid-Career Master in Public Administration (MC/MPA) curriculum consists of the Mid-Career Summer Program, the Mason Fellows Summer Seminar for our Mason Fellows, and two semesters of full-time coursework in residence at Harvard Kennedy School. You must complete at least 32 credits to earn your degree.
As an MC/MPA student, you have the flexibility to choose from a range of courses and design your own study plan. To ground your HKS educational experience and further develop your skill set, you will also take at least one course—or four credits—from a pre-approved list in each of these areas:
