Key information

Learn about the latest theory and practice influencing the care and support of children and young people, experiencing mental health difficulties and their families and carers. You will critically evaluate approaches to compassionate mental health care and consider innovative ways of developing ethical, culturally sensitive and age appropriate practice.

You will gain a thorough grounding in research skills and applied data analysis to support your role as an evidence-based practitioner, able to critically evaluate approaches to support and care for children and young people experiencing mental ill-health.

You will address key principles of child and adolescent mental healthcare and emotional well-being, together with current issues affecting mental health policy and practice through core discipline-specific modules.

Elective modules will allow you to build your professional knowledge and pursue your particular areas of interest.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
