You will study current economic theory and practice, financial economics, and the technical mathematics and statistics that underpin them.The Financial Economics undergraduate degree was originally developed to meet a gap in the educational market, answering the needs of students and employers. As a result, this course is focused on creating highly skilled graduates with the analytical abilities of a trained economist and specific knowledge of the economic aspects of financial markets.This course aims to develop your analytical abilities in economics, providing you with the quantitative skills required to analyse financial markets. Successful completion is a signal to prospective employers of your sound knowledge and understanding of the macroeconomic and microeconomic principles underlying various types of financial markets and instruments.
