在这里学什么？ We’re fascinated by our world: how and why our natural and built environments vary, and how they coexist with our social world. Study with us and you can explore it all, developing the skills to probe the world around us, investigate human impact in relation to climate change and understand how global urbanisation affects the human experience.The Foundation Year provides a route onto a Geography degree if you don't have the qualifications or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice.After successful completion of the Geography Foundation Year, you can progress on to one of the relevant BSc (Hons) degrees:- BSc (Hons) Geography- BSc (Hons) Human Geography- BSc (Hons) Physical GeographyWhichever route you take, you’ll have the skills and understanding you need to undertake further study or get started in your career.**FEATURES AND BENEFITS:**- Provides a route onto your chosen degree course if you don't meet the current entry requirements.- Foundation Years are designed to make undergraduate degrees more accessible to those who are under-represented in higher education, for example, those with non-traditional qualifications.- Has content that is tailored so that it is appropriate to your chosen degree.- Helps you to develop the study skills and academic knowledge you will need to start Year 1 of your course with confidence.- You will be eligible to apply for student finance in the same way as other undergraduates. - Our practical facilities include a dedicated instrumentation laboratory with an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometer and ion chromatograph (IC) for environmental measurements, a GIS laboratory, and a field store with the equipment for sampling and assessing a wide range of environments.
