在这里学什么？ **OVERVIEW**Working with organisations like ABTA, Qantas, Visit Manchester and TUI we’ve designed this course to give you the skills the tourism industry is looking for. We’ve made sure everything you learn is directly relevant to your future career. That’s why you’ll find distinctive units like Crisis and Risk Management, which explore subjects relevant to the industry right now.Manchester is England’s second most visited city by international tourists. It’s a great place to begin your tourism career. And with our links to organisations like Visit Manchester and Manchester Airport, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with the local industry.**Experience the sector**Lectures are just one part of your education. Throughout the course, you’ll find new ways to broaden your knowledge.Find inspiration on field trips to destinations nearby, like Blackpool, or further afield, like New York (optional, extra cost). Develop new skills or volunteer for a worthwhile cause on our Third Term Programme. Or spend a year experiencing a different culture or working environment by studying abroad or going on placement.**The latest thinking**Our international teaching team have a wide range of backgrounds in the sector. They’re members of industry associations, active in research, and many have years of professional experience.But there’s more. Not only will we help you develop the right skills to work anywhere, we can help you master a new language too. You’ll be able to communicate with the locals and give employers a compelling reason to hire you over other candidates.**Choose a placement or study abroad**The course offers real flexibility as you will enrol on the three-year course and then decide if a placement or overseas study is right for you once you have started your studies. You don’t have to decide now.
