在这里学什么？ The Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences has a reputation for academic excellence and you’ll learn from research-active staff working at the forefront of their specialist fields – well placed to support and guide you as you discover yours.The Foundation Year provides a route onto a degree if you don't have the qualifications or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice.After successful completion of the Sport and Exercise Sciences Foundation Year, you can progress on to one of the relevant BSc (Hons) degrees:- BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science- BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development- BSc (Hons) Health and Exercise ScienceWhichever route you take, you’ll have the skills and understanding you need to undertake further study or get started in your career. **Features and benefits**- Provides a route onto your chosen degree course if you don't meet the current entry requirements.- Foundation Years are designed to make undergraduate degrees more accessible to those who are under-represented in higher education, for example, those with non-traditional qualifications.- Has content that is tailored so that it is appropriate to your chosen degree.- Helps you to develop the study skills and academic knowledge you will need to start Year 1 of your course with confidence.- You will be eligible to apply for student finance in the same way as other undergraduates.- This course offers a vocational focus, equipping you with a range of practical, transferable skills vital for a future in sport science or healthcare.- Within Sport and Exercise Sciences, we have an excellent reputation for course quality, student satisfaction and world-class research.- You’ll learn from Sport Scientists who work with Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth athletes.- We work in partnership with Manchester City Football Club's City in the Community Trust, offering a range of potential opportunities for working on projects around sport, health, skills and enterprise.- You’ll have the option to spend a year getting a taste of professional life, working on placement in a sport or healthcare organisation – building vital workplace skills and practical experience
