Introduction

An organisation is only as good as the people working within it. Business psychology is crucial in understanding how teams work and what motivates employees. Many organisations hire business psychologists to solve challenges in psychology and business, from communication to talent recruitment.

Not only does applying psychology to the workplace produce better leaders and teams, it improves business decisions too. Business psychology is a growing market, addressing a business need for more effective workplace cultures.

MSc Business Psychology uses a skills-based, solution-focused approach that applies evidence to practice. To date, we're one of the only universities in the region to deliver a master's degree in business psychology.

Learning and Teaching

The course is delivered through flexible distributed learning, enabling you to work alongside your master's degree. Throughout your studies, you'll be taught via a blend of face-to-face and online lectures. Most of the course content is taught online, ensuring your learning is technology-enabled and future-focused.

All face-to-face teaching is delivered in blocks, comprising of two day workshops per 15 credit module. If you're employed during your studies, you'll benefit from being able to book off blocks of time from work.

Develop integrated expertise across business and psychology. You'll gain broad knowledge in a range of subject areas, integrating organisational and occupational psychology with organisational studies, human resource management, coaching and leadership.

You'll also have the opportunity to study select modules as standalone CPD short courses, some of which are accredited by professional bodies. Where subject areas overlap with existing modules, learning resources will be shared with other courses.

Careers / Further study

MSc Business Psychology will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to apply psychology to any organisation. You'll gain a good understanding of the applications of psychology in the workplace, solving organisational issues such as poor internal communication.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with the following qualifications would be considered for entry to UWE Bristol’s master's courses: bachelor's degree awarded by a Chinese university after four years of study with 70% (equivalent to a UK degree of 2:2). Students need to hold a overall score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component.
