With your MAT degree from Campbellsville University Online, you will be prepared to teach health and physical education at the K–12 level. Your online master’s in physical education could also lead to a K–12 coaching position or bolster a career in athletics, outdoor education or personal training.

Combining Campbellsville University’s Christian values with expertise in both content and teaching methods, the online master’s in physical education emphasizes human growth and development, educational technologies and diverse learning styles. As you hone your content literacy, you will practice effective assessment, research methods and strategies for teaching physical education.

As part of the online physical education master’s program, you will participate in a graduate practicum/seminar. This gives you the opportunity to practice your skills in the field while receiving support from faculty, coworkers and peers. Student teaching, the last degree requirement for those not already teaching with a provisional certificate, will ensure that you are ready for a demanding, yet rewarding career.
